The mall’s Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is giving patrons of the city a chance to get up close and personal with sharks to learn about their environment and feeding habits, and to get into the tank to train them. To be organised daily at 12:30, 14:30 and 16:30, the 30-minute sessions will let wannabe trainers go behind the scenes to assist the aquarium staff in training bamboo sharks and leopard sharks. There’s no swimming required, and guests will only be submerged waist-high. The family-friendly experience is for six amateur trainers at a time, accompanied by a professional trainer to guide them through the experience. And it’s just Dhs100 a session.
