Lily Hoa Nguyen
is the Founder & Executive Chef, she is a Vietnamese national who has been practicing her craft since she is 5-year old and spent her adult life cooking Vietnamese food in Saigon, Paris, Istanbul and Dubai. Lily is passionate about serving up the best of Vietnamese dishes and also is happy to share secrets to a perfect home-cooked Vietnamese meals through her cooking classes. Fans of Vietnamese cuisine can visit this brand-new branch of Vietnamese Foodies that is opening today(Thursday April 25) in Downtown Dubai. Vietnamese Foodies is famous for its fresh and tasty dishes, which come at affordable rates. Foodines love to visit the original JLT branch that is alsoway buzzing with diners. The Downtown Vietnamese Foodies will be welcoming diners to its new destination at Burj Vista Residence.
The décor at
Vietnamese Foodies is minimal and contemporary, the wast space is skillfully designed and is bigger than the petite JLT location. The place can seat up to 70 diners inside, as well as a further 40 on the terrace. This laid-back restaurant has spell-binding views of Burj Khalifa, as well as has an open kitchen so people can watch the chefs at work. And the main difference from the JLT branch is that this brand new venue has a traditional rotisserie reminds diners of Vietnam’s vibrant street food joints.
Those who want to learn and want to whip up a dish at home, from July the new location will also offer cooking classes hosted by owner and executive chef, Lily Hoa Nguyen. All the healthy and delicious dishes on the menu and also special dishes that are exclusive to the Downtown location.
Dishes such as roasted duck with bao buns, bun with chicken satay, chicken spring rolls, luk luk beef stir-fry, prawns with fish roe and sauce, roasted chicken with bao buns and crispy chicken with lime leaf salt are all outstanding. Drinks include orange juice with chia seeds, coconut juice with lemongrass and Vietnamese cold brew specialty coffee. The menu also caters for paleo, vegan, vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free diets. All Vietnamese Foodies dishes are inspired by the culinary diversity of the Vietnamese food capital, Ho Chi Minh City.
