The menu at Ushna is just as interesting, featuring starters such as the very delicious murgh basil tikka (succulent tandoor-grilled chicken breast with a sweet basil and garlic marinade), a small selection of soups as well as an assortment of grilled meats, curries and many vegetarian options. Highly recommended food,even the presentation can’t be faulted. It’s clear that Ushna is going for more of an haute cuisine approach, yet
given the high prices. The meen moilee coconut fish curry is prepared with care and is delightful in taste. Ushna offers slick service and offers plush surrounds. Just as its name, Ushna dining experience reflects passion, warmth and vigour blending classical Indian cuisine with contemporary style. The brand has been successfully franchised, with a second restaurant presently operational within the Shangri La Hotel in Qaryat al Berri, Abu Dhabi.
