Ruth’s Chris Steak House serves
only the finest, aged, corn fed USDA prime beef. Broiled in a trademark 1,800 degrees oven the beef is served on a plate heated to 500 degrees, they serve steak sizzling hot at the table. Along with it their menu includes fresh seafood , an assortment of delicious vegetables – including five kinds of potatoes – as well as homemade desserts & an wide-ranging selection of wines to complete each dining experience. Every bite is as delicious as the first.
The team has created a wine menu based on the passion for food and wine. The respect the notion of terroirs, they have personally selected a range of exceptional wines. They believe wine is a very important part of the total dining experience and their goal is to enhance
that experience by providing a wide selection of wines to satisfy every palate and suit every occasion. In 2015, Ruth’s Chris Steak House celebrated its 50th anniversary. For the occasion, they honored the legacy of a woman who broke the mold – our founder Ruth Fertel. The “First Lady of Steak” bought a local steak house, named Chris Steak House, on Broad Street, New Orleans and transformed it what is now Americas #1 Steak House, boasting the largest collection of upscale steak houses worldwide. Ruth was a stickler for sourcing only the top 2% of the country’s beef and serving the best steak on a 500° sizzling plate. Often, people would ask Ruth why her food was so good, and she’d simply say, “Just follow the recipe.”

This American steakhouse has its roots deep in New Orleans and the waiting staff and bartenders’ attire reflect the Prohibition-era style. The cowboy rib-eye, 620g of bone-in meaty and melts in the mouth almost as quickly as the butter sizzling away underneath it. The menu features Ruth’s favourite cut is the bone-in New York strip and it is juicy.
