Dubai restaurants and malls are now reopening, and some restaurants in Dubai are starting to welcome clients and serve iftar for Ramadan.
The reopenings of the restaurants and malls have followed after the announcement by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management on Friday April 24 regarding the partial reduction in restrictions on movement in Dubai during Ramadan. Visitors to restaurants in Dubai that are now open, and restaurants that have reopened, must adhere to the UAE’s strict health and safety rules, including wearing a mask. Adults over the age of 60 and kids aged between three and 12 are not permitted to dine in at Dubai restaurants, while dining time must not exceed a limit of three hours. Restaurants must offer limited seats to 30 percent, and all restaurants must have a red tag with revised maximum seating capacity based on four square metres per guest. There must be a distance of two metres between tables.
