Global Village dates announced for next season

An all new line-up of performers are going to take to the stage soon. While Global Village is closed for the summer, it’ll be back soon – with another stellar run of international food and live entertainment. Organisers have announced that the next season will run from Tuesday October 29 2019 to Saturday April 4 2020.

This year witnessed Jay Sean and Jason Derulo taking to the stage among other top performers, with a record-breaking seven million visitors heading to the destination. The season was warmly attended and was popular and the park extended the season for an extra week by popular demand following a public vote. Global Village is home to more than 25 pavilions representing countries across the world, where guests can indulge in everything from Canadian poutine to Swiss raclette and Dutch mini pancakes. There’s also a funfair where you can enjoy 28 rides and more than 100 arcade games. This season also featured a new circus show for the little ones to enjoy.

Bader Anwahi, chief executive Officer of Global Village said, “We continue to remain in-step with changes in the entertainment industry as well as the tastes and preferences of our guests as we contemporise our core offering that encompasses shopping, dining, entertainment and fun-fair.”

Presenting something magical about Global Village, this festival park is all set to present cultures together as visitors discover different countries around the world in just a few hours. Meander from London’s Big Ben to the leaning tower of Pisa in Italy, visitors can take selfies against the romantic backdrop of the Taj Mahal or travel back in time to Ancient Egypt.

There’s a lot to enjoy with more than 75 countries displaying traditional handicrafts and snacks across 30+ pavilions. Children and adults alike will delight in the bright lights and lively atmosphere created by parades, plays, and all kinds of shows, from fire-breathing street performances to break-dancing and musicals.

There’s a lot of fun to be had with over 50 games and thrilling rides at the region’s largest funfair. Visitors can keep an eye out for Global Village’s mascot, Globo, and his adventures across the globe with Scaredy Bat and more! A must visit Global Village is the season to see all the open-air fun they can have with the entire family.

This is the region’s first multi-cultural festival park that offers an adventure around the world. Right from being mesmerized by traditional and futuristic performances, to experiencing the joy of shopping at buzzing street bazaars from around the globe, Global Village is a place like no other. Visitors can taste authentic delicacies from over 20 countries and let loose at the Carnival Funfair. A visit to Global Village is a memorable and magical experience. An extravaganza of sights, sounds and aromas from every part of the globe, making this entertainment destination a true feast for the senses. They can join the celebration of diversity.

Global Village is located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road Exit 37 and Monday is a Family Day [Except Public Holidays].
