place to fancy a round of golf at cooler hours. As it is increasingly hot during the day, Emirates Golf Club has just launched a new deal that’s great for all. The Sheikh Zayed Road golf club is offering up a summer night golf and meal deal.
Golfers who play either nine or 18 holes on the Faldo course can avail a Dhs65 voucher to spend on food at Spike Bar. With dishes like chicken wings, nachos, burgers, deep pan pizzas and even a full English breakfast. The offer is valid on weekdays from 19:00, one can book a post-work round. Emirates Golf Club has also just installed some brand-new LED lights on the Faldo Course.
Visitors will be able to see even more clearly after dark.
And those who want to get an idea of how the professionals do it, Dubai hosting a historic sporting event next month – the first-ever day to night golf tournament.The free-to-attend Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic will see 56 pros, 35 of the leading players on the Ladies’ European Tour and 21 tournament invitees from other tours or social media sensations, and three amateurs go head-to-head under the floodlights at the course designed by six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo. This will be the first professional day-night golf tournament of its kind when it commences on Wednesday May 1. Two of the three rounds will be played from day-to-night. Players expected to compete include Shanshan Feng (tournament winner in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016), Angel Yin (2017) and France’s Camille Chevalier who won the Ladies European Tour’s Rookie of the Year.
