The
Dubai Tour is famous as Dubai’s biggest cycling race, returns from 6-10 February, for its fifth edition. Dubai Tour 2018 will have teams of cyclists from all over the world visiting Dubai to take part.
There are five days of races that are scheduled for them cycling more than 850km all over the UAE – through Hatta, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. These five races are going to start off at Skydive Dubai, which is where this year’s Dubai Tour fan village will be based. Participating team in the Dubai Tour 2018 will be 16 in number, right from countries including Kazakhstan, Bahrain, the USA, and the Netherlands. There will also be a Special Guest Team, the UAE National Selection, which is a team of riders representing the UAE, specially selected to ride with some of the world’s best cyclists.

World an amazing competition and a spectacular showcase of Dubai. The power and passion of cycling can be seen on show. Dubai Tour is organized by Dubai Sports Council in partnership with RCS Sport and Events JLT.
The Dubai Tour Trophy – Circle of Stars by Pininfarina has a unique and distinctive character that combines the purity with the richness and refinement of materials. The Trophy is in the shape of a circle, the simplest and the most perfect form, under the pressure of the movement, resulting in a dynamic and elegant shape. Many references to the world of cycling: the Trophy can be seen as a wheel of a racing bike, representing the passion of the competition. The materials used has an aesthetic and a symbolic role referring to the Dubai reality; the unique object takes shape from the extraordinary multi-faceted blue sand crystals, typical of the local desert.
The Dubai Tour Trophy, named Circle of Stars, is designed by Pininfarina. The Italian design company has returned to the sports field with its usual passion and talent in conceiving memorable icons.
The jersey is known to be the most powerful symbol of the triumph. Each day the leaders of the four standings will be wearing the jerseys with the colors of their records, competing on the roads to keep wearing that jersey.
