Dubai’s Waterfront Market have reopened on Tuesday April 7. The market sells fruit, vegetables, fresh meat, fish and more. The film will be open daily from 06:00, closing at 20:00 for deep cleaning and sanitation. And the fresh food market will be will be taking precautionary health and safety measures.
A statement from Waterfront Market read that it was reopening after being given permission from Dubai authorities as an essential service.
Customers can avail everything including Lulu Hypermarket, the pharmacy, the fish, meat, dry goods and fruit and vegetable markets. All open for clients, the retail stores and restaurants will be closed until further notice.
Dubai’s Waterfront Market will have a dedicated team on a 24-hour cleaning programme, which includes disinfecting and sanitising all common areas, as well as standard hygiene cleaning practices.
Waterfront Market will also install thermal cameras, along with social distancing practices in place for customers.
“Waterfront Market is a state-of-the-art modern facility which incorporates first-rate hygiene levels into the design of the building and its operations. As we deal in fresh food health, safety, security and hygiene have always been our number one priority,” said Waterfront Market manager Mohammad Al Madani.
“In light of Covid-19 we have taken additional precautionary measures across the entire property to further ensure the health and safety of all our customers, staff and the wider community. We encourage our community to practise physical distancing and stay safe during these unprecedented times.”
