Chinese New Year at Dubai Parks and Resorts

Parks and Resorts, famous as the largest theme park in the Middle East, is celebrating the Chinese New Year from 10-24 February, with the Chinese New Year Temple Fair. Residents and tourists alike are invited to join in the festivities during this year’s Spring Festival, and there will be plenty of activities and entertainment.

Riverland will be hosting a traditional Chinese market, featuring arts and crafts such as clay figurines and sugar paintings, as well as Chinese food and beverage options. The market will also be full of roaming acts including puppet shows and Sichuan opera performers, and there will be a daily fireworks show. The French Village area will be lit up with lanterns, and visitors can also find a red pocket tree, a traditional Chinese tree full of wishing cards and gifts.


At Legoland Dubai, visitors get an opportunity to learn about Chinese New Year while building a giant Lego mosaic, as well as place a wish on the theme park’s wishing wall. They will be serving special Chinese dishes made available from all of the restaurants. In Motiongate, guests will get to see live performances from entertainers and calligraphers, and there will be a lot going on at Kung Fu Panda Land. Po, the star of the Kung Fu Panda films, will be meeting and greeting, and guests can enjoy a Chinese buffet for just AED99.
