, Bleu Blanc By David Myers is a refined bar. David Myers, known as the gypsy chef is making his mark on the region with not one but two restaurants in Renaissance Downtown Hotel.
The charm and magic begins right from the moment people step through the rustic blue doors. Mesmerizing blue is stunning and evokes memories of never-ending extend of azure skies and mesmerizing backdrops connected with the alluring French countryside. The inviting place is filled with aromas that excite the senses as people enter. Their floor to ceiling lavender garden is divine, also the inviting aroma of freshly baked bread wafting from the oven upstairs. As diners enter the restaurant, they see an open-plan kitchen that features the skill and passion of the chefs at work, with the sizzle of the grill exciting diners with a taste of things to be served.
Chef David Myers has offered a dream destination, similar to a house in Southern France.
With the rustic wooden spoons, they have separate venue for a semi-private dining area from the main space of restaurant. Their vintage-inspired cutlery and crockery are special, David has specially selected every piece of décor and detailing throughout Bleu Blanc. He has further adding his signature and style to the electrifying new venue. The main attraction of the restaurant and its menu is the wood-fired grill, that represents the fire that often is reminiscent of the heart of a French farmhouse. It is a source of warmth that brings loved ones together. Their grill selection features premium cuts of meat, fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables, all prepared in front of guests, encouraging them to partake in a family style sharing concept.
Bleu Blanc’s refined bar is a place that invites guests to socialize and enjoy an aperitif, accompanied by eclectic beats. The cocktail menu showcases elegantly handcrafted cocktails conceived by Sam Ross, the creator of the modern classic cocktail, Penicillin. Right from the Sommelier’s Island, an extensive Southern French-focused grape selection is served, with regional highlights such
as Côtes du Rhône, Côtes de Provence, Pays D’Oc and Languedoc – Roussillon. The Sommelier’s Island is a lively entertainment space which also displays a fine collection of exquisite decanters and glassware. In cooler weather, Bleu Blanc’s terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy good food and company, surrounded by sweeping views of the Dubai Water Canal. It is distances away from the Côte D’Azur, but Bleu Blanc makes everyone feel at ease.
