A total of 68 galleries from 200 artists from around the world are all set to go up for the exhibition. Abu Dhabi Art is very famous as the one of the biggest cultural events of the year in the UAE capital.
Abu Dhabi Art 12th edition is all set to take place from 19 – 26 November 2020 as a virtual fair.
This is an interactive digital edition of Abu Dhabi Art that will bring together galleries and artists from across the world in a number of curated gallery exhibitions and sectors. The place is presenting international and local artist together to cross cultural and creative borders, the annual event is a showcase and a bridge to the arts for many in the UAE.
This year, due to COVID-19, the entire event is digital-only. The place is still offering cultural experiences, exhibitions and opportunities for residents to enjoy the experience with art.
Organised by The Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), Abu Dhabi Art has launched a virtual fair until November 26 where you can see 68 galleries and works from more than 200 artists from across the world.
Highlights of the art fair this year includes Modern and Contemporary a collection of 37 galleries, The Day After a sector devoted to African art, Material Real with contemporary art from South Korea, India Today a exhibition of works from the subcontinent, Beyond: Emerging Artists showcasing up-and-coming Emirati artists and much more Closer to home, A Picture Held By Us showcases five galleries by artists based in the UAE.
