According to its website, Dubai has come of age in the area of conservation. In a destination known for its mega-projects, a less well-known local fact is that the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve forms the biggest piece of land, which Dubai has dedicated to a single project. The management designs every evening at Sonara Camp to be unique and loves to add elements of surprise for every guest. They only need to relax and be entertained. Everyone can enjoy the evening with live music, activities and unforgettable entertainment.
Tourists and residents looking for an offbeat dining experience in the Northern Emirates, one that combines desert vistas with gourmet dining, the luxury Dubai desert camp dining experience Sonara is the answer and has expanded to Ras Al Khaimah. Guests who pick the dinner experience can then make their way to a lower level for a white tablecloth meal. On the menu are slow-cooked pulled lamb, chicken fajita tacos, a black Angus striploin and ratatouille, with vegan options and a children’s menu. While you dine, expect to be entertained with dance performances (and maybe even a fire-breathing show). Moreover, the award-winning resident Chef Franck Sanna has created a fusion Mediterranean menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and innovative cooking methods. First, there was camping, and then there was glamping. Sonara now introduces Desert NESTING. Nesting offers a peaceful and innovative sleeping concept for unforgettable nights in the desert. Renowned architect Gianni Ranaulo designs the 14 Nests. The dune-shaped Nests marry organically with the surrounding desert. Furthermore, Each Nest has an ensuite bathroom and private terrace. It is equipped with one double bed. However, an extra bed can also be installed in your Nest to cater to a total of 2 adults and two children.
