Flamingo Room by tashas is the first concept restaurant in Dubai from restaurateur, Natasha Sideris, the Founder and Managing Executive of tashas. Showcasing the best essence from her world travels, taste and vision, she creates an extraordinary environment where food is an integral part of the entire experience and she and her team have created a world-class concept. Flamingo Room by tashas is all about “African Glamour” and it takes its inspiration from the classic and long-standing restaurants in London, Monaco, New York and Paris.
Nestled by the turtle ponds in the Jumeirah Al Naseem resort’s landscaped grounds, the spacious 200-seater venue is spread across multiple bars, lounge, terrace, and the dining area, with a unified design theme inspired by Africa, with influences of 70’s glamour, set-up all together. Global design firm B&S Studio have incorporated references to African embellishments, and added bits of pink and peach-dominated colour scheme to create a space that is stylish yet homely. With outdoor seating, set within a pagoda, the restaurant providing uninterrupted views of Jumeirah Al Naseem’s turtle lagoon, which is home to rehabilitated turtles.
This exceptional setting carries through into the menu as well, which features indulgent classics created with quality ingredients such as Lobster Benedict with Toasted Brioche and a Saffron & Lemon Hollandaise; Prawn Avo Ritz; White Fish with Sauce Vierge and Artichoke; Beetroot Quinoa Salad; Ribeye with Coriander and Herb Butter; and Seafood Pasta. The attention to detail continues through every facet of this elegant restaurant nestled on the banks of Jumeirah Al Naseem. The casual, chic dining spot pays a tribute to founder Natasha Sideris’s South African heritage, while embracing delicious Mediterranean flavours.
