ETA has signed a contract with JW Marriott to develop the living component of Dubai Lifestyle City as the first JW Marriott branded residential property worldwide.
Dubai Lifestyle City is a Dh2.4 billion project in Dubailand covering over an area of four million square feet. The project, the first of its kind in the region, aims at the creation of a self-sufficient residential community surrounded by hotels, spas, sports academies and other facilities, digitally connected to each other. Dubai Lifestyle City will have 68 villas and 120 villettes (apartment homes), all designed in the Tuscany style, with views over the golf course and Italian courtyards.
Speaking on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Ed Fuller, President and MD, Marriott Lodging International, said that he is proud to be associated with Dubai Lifestyle City. "I consider it one of our most special partnerships. It is the first branded residential project that we are undertaking under the JW Marriott brand. The authenticity of the Tuscany architecture is what fascinates me most about this project. Authenticity is an important theme in today's world," he concluded.
As part of the agreement, all the villas and 'villettes' in Dubai Lifestyle City will be branded as JW Marriott Residences and the hospitality firm will take care of the full gamut of the house keeping operations for residents who choose its services. Besides, JW Marriott will run three separate, yet integrated lodging facilities to fulfil all the requirements of the visitors to the city. The 170-room JW Marriott Hotel, the 152-room Courtyard by Marriott, and the 46-unit Marriott Executive Apartments, will be available to the visitors to Dubai Lifestyle City. |
